Lauren Chauvin

Lauren Chauvin founded the government relations and lobbying firm, L. Chauvin & Associates, in 2021. Chauvin has advocated for the business community through lobbying and policy work for more than ten years. She now serves as the Executive Director of LCTA - The Internet and Television Association. Her other clients include the Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association (LMOGA) and the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI). Prior to founding L. Chauvin and Associates, Chauvin most recently served as the Policy Director of Energy, Civil Justice Reform and Environmental Quality, and the Director of the Judicial Program for LABI. Before that, she served as in-house counsel and government affairs director for the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association (LOGA). Originally from Lafayette, Chauvin received her bachelor's degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in broadcast journalism from Louisiana State University. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor and Civil Law Diploma from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Lauren and her husband Hunter are the proud parents of Harrison (3) and James (2).
